Vi är nära toppen!
Utdrag från Dr. Alexander Elders maillista (en läsare som skrivit detta till honom):
It takes human nature to create an asset bubble so here?re my top five personal signs that we're near the top of the real estate market:
#1 The Playboy Playmate of the Month of May ?05 wants to quit modeling to go into real estate sales (as first noted by John Mauldin)
#2 I just sold my 10 yr old Saab to a fellow who can't afford a house in Silicon Valley, so he bought a house way out in Modesto. Not to live in and not to rent out, but just to pay the mortgage and bet on a price increase.
#3 My dear auntie Ruth says, "Home prices here don't EVER drop. If the market is bad, prices just stay flat."
#4 A Realtor friend in Denver says the market is falling apart there. Every price range is getting hit, huge surge in inventory, highest foreclosure rate since the late '80s bust.
#5 Prices have gone up so much in CA since I sold my home that I'm almost thinking of buying back in. (Not really, but without this trading education I just might)

People may no longer "count" as unemployed once they give up looking, but they are clearly not leaving the county. With housing prices up 16 -18% each(!) of the last two years, the anecdotal claims people are living off their housing wealth seem to have a bit of hard evidence in support.
