Bob, I have been a stockbroker and portfolio manager since 1987. I purchased and read your recent book and took a trial subscription to the theorist. I am a true believer in market psychology and wave counting! Question: Is it possible to end a wave before counting 5 waves of lesser degree? If so, did that happen in 1929 or 1987? Hi James, YES, but only at the smallest degree. At the December 1976 high (yes, 21 years ago), the last wave on the hourly chart only had 3 subwaves. I have remembered that ever since. This top did the same thing. Maybe in the final moments, the market gets impatient. --RP
