While I agree with your conclusion that a $ rally is coming, I don't think that it is upon us as of yet.

The attached graph contains the ratio of Speculative Short positions divided by Open Interest (purple line) and the $ Index (black line). It is current through last Friday, which means it has data up to a week ago this past Tuesday. As you can see, the ratio of Spec Shorts to Open Interest is at an extreme not consistent with past EURO highs (Dollar lows). In fact, it almost appears to be the exact opposite. A move back below the 5% level would imply Large Spec capitulation and make me feel much better about a $ rally.
