The pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into Red States and Blue States; Red States for Republicans, Blue States for Democrats. But I've got news for them too. We worship an awesome God in the Blue States, and we don't like federal agents poking around in our libraries in the Red States. We coach Little League in the Blue States and yes, we got some gay friends in the Red States. There are patriots who opposed the war in Iraq and patriots who supported the war in Iraq. We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America

In Chapter 6 of the book, titled "Faith," Obama writes that he "was not raised in a religious household." He describes his mother, raised by non-religious parents, as detached from religion, yet "in many ways the most spiritually awakened person that I have ever known." Tycker Obama har en hel del bra åsikter. Sen vet man ju aldrig hur mtcket av detta som är "sant" och vad som är "tillverkat" av valstrategerna.

Men, jag är mycket tveksam till att USA verkligen kommer att rösta på en färgad kandidat, och tom en med muslimsk anknytning (hur svag den än är).

I grunden är USA "konservativ" vit medeklass, tror inte det är en chans dom röstar på någon annan än en av "sina egna". Hur hemskt det än låter.

#8 Det kommer säkert att vara tufft för Obama men omöjligt är det inte. Vi få börja med oss själva. Vill vi ha en färgad USA president?. Sen få vi försöka övertya andra också.

Det kommer säkert många slag under bältet mot honom, speciellt om han dra ifrån Klinton. Många smutsiga kampanjer har USA som sitt hemland. Man få ändå inte ge upp.

Obama är det nya framtidshopp för USA. Alla andra kandidater är samma och samma och samma ...oavsett.

Jag hoppas på Hillary i detta val. Hon känns lite mindre populistisk än Obama, och lite mer harmlös - förhoppningsvis ställer hon inte till det så mycket.

Däremot tror jag på Obama för framtiden. Han kan bygga upp lite erfarenhet under de närmaste 8 åren och vara redo att vinna 2016, då han fortfarande kommer att vara en ung kandidat.

Han skulle kunna vänta i 30 år till också för den delen. Om han spelar sina kort rätt och inte går i allt för hård kamp med Hillary så kan han nog se till att han har ett mycket bra läge för att bli demokraternas kandidat någon gång under de närmaste decennierna, och jag hoppas att han lyckas.

Media har grävt fram att Obama är släkt med fd slavägare, presidenter och Cheney. Allt i ett försök att förlöjliga och smutskasta en mörkhyad kandidat. På samma vis har FOX grävt fram att han gick i en muslimsk skola som liten, vilket är synonymt med terroristskola för neandertalarhögern.

Det ser ut som ingen av kandidaterna kommer att fa tillrackligt manga delegater for att ga i mal.

Det betyder att man raknar super delegaterna, vilket Clinton leder skyhogt over Obama. Sa det troliga ar att Clinton vinner det Demokratiska valet, eller som det kallas i Sverige, att hon sjal valet av Obama med mycket farre roster fran vanliga medborgare, men hennes Demokratiska kollegor ser till att hon vinner.

(Om hon sedan blir President, och valjer Bill till V. President, sedan avlider, sa blir Bill Clinton President igen.)

Jag tror hon kommer att fa svart mot MCCain.

Det ar lite komiskt att se och hora hur Obama ar det nya hoppet, fast hans partikamrater inte tycker sa, for de rostar pa Clinton.

Clinton leder över Obama med 60% vs 40% vad avser Superdelegaterna. Inte direkt "skyhögt" :) Hon har tappat från 71% av av stödet till nuvarande 60% på en månad, så ännu är inte loppet klart.

Speciellt med det faktum i åtanke att Superdelegaterna kan byta kandidat när/om de vill och visar det sig att Obama leder i vår kan etablisemanget/Superdelegaterna svänga. Obama har nu, iom Wisconsin, vunnit 9 st primärval i rad... momentum är nyckeln i valet.

Enligt intrade är oddsen 80/20 till Obamas fördel nu.

Anglo-saxer är värdekonservativa av gammal tradition.

Clinton & Obama representerar snarare motsattsen. Inte minst symboliskt i form av kvinna & färgad...   Kan tyckas oväsentligt för oss från våra perspektiv här i Sverige och Europa. Men i US blir det lite "too much".

Det skulle möjligen kunna vara om Obama lyckades fånga in större latino-grupper..  Onekligen tycks han vara god på att entussiasmera, och det är både omtyckt och viktigt enligt mina erarenheter om US.

The election is now Obama's to lose or Hillary's to steal (via super delegates).

Unless Obama makes a major gaff he is heading into the convention with a lead of at least 100 delegates. If he wins either Texas or Ohio (and I suspect he will win at least one of them) it will all be over but the shouting or the theft.

People want change, closure, and healing. Neither McCain or Hillary can provide that.

One highly experienced Democratic insider told me that the Old Guard of the party is utterly confused by the appeal of Obama -- by the oceans of young people, moderates, and independents flocking to his camp.

Glöm inte att Obama är motståndare till globaliseringen, han vill göra USA mer protektionistisk, det gynnar ingen.
