aluminiumproducenten Alcoa redovisar ett justerat resultat på
0:36 dollar per aktie för det fjärde kvartalet (0:74).

Analytikerna hade väntat sig ett resultat på 0:34
dollar per aktie, enligt Bloomberg News.

Försäljningen uppgick till 7,4 miljarder dollar
(7,5), väntat var här 7,0 miljarder dollar./

Revenue fell to $7.39 billion from $7.84 billion due to lower aluminum prices and the exclusion of a business segment which is now part of a joint venture. Excluding a favorable restructuring adjustment and a tax benefit stemming from the sale of the company's packaging and consumer businesses, earnings would have come in at 36 cents a share. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial had expected a profit of 33 cents a share on sales of $6.92 billion.
