Har haft depå hos CMC i England i ett drygt år för att lära mig handla spreads.

Har totalat sett fungerat hyfsat bra. Stabil plattform, där stoppar mm fungerar. Inga automatiska stoppar utan man kan sätt dom helt själv eller vara utan om man vill. Minsta posititon är tyvärr relativt stor om man vill använda dom för att lära sig med ett mindre kapital.

Ibland svarar supporten bra på frågor via mail o ibland får man inget svar alls. Deras sätt att beräkna räntor är helt obegripligt, likaså deras dagliga och månadsrapporter.

Plattformen/charten är lite primitiva och visar inte helt rätt på vecko- jämfört med dagsstaplar. Har aldrig fått något svar på frågor kring detta.

Har nyligen avslutat depån och avslutet har dom sköt riktigt bra. Får behålla plattformen och realtidsuppdateringen.

CMC, SaxoBank, United Brokers och andra CFD-mäklare är i grunden "bucket-shops" med alla de fördelar o nackdelar det innebär.

Ett av nackdelarna med Saxo är att när man blir överbelånad så stoppar de ut alla dina positioner även om det skulle räckt att de säljer av 10% av dina positioner för att reglera margin-behovet.

Bucket Shop

1. A fraudulent brokerage firm that uses aggressive telephone sales tactics to sell securities that the brokerage owns and wants to get rid of. The securities they sell are typically poor investment opportunities, and almost always penny stocks.

2. A brokerage that makes trades on a client's behalf and promises a certain price. The brokerage, however, waits until a different price arises and then makes the trade, keeping the difference as profit.

1. Bucket shops are sometimes called the boiler room. The U.S. has laws restricting bucket shop practices by limiting the ability of brokerage houses to create and trade certain types of over-the-counter securities.

2. The second definition for a bucket shop comes from over 50 years ago, when bucket shops would do trades all day long, throwing the ticket into a bucket. At the end of the day they would decide which accounts to award the winning and losing trades.

Bucketing

A situation where, in an attempt to make a short-term profit, a broker confirms an order to a client without actually executing it. A brokerage which engages in unscrupulous activities, such as bucketing, is often referred to as a bucket shop.

If the eventual price that the order is executed at is higher than the price available when the order was submitted, the customer simply pays the higher price. On the other hand, if the execution price is lower than the price available when the order was submitted, the customer pays the higher price and the brokerage firm pockets the difference
