It is really tough to try and predict which way the market is going to go ... so don't try to do it. Instead create a thesis that has a rationale behind it and let the market either prove it or disprove it and then act accordingly.

There appears to be a major topping pattern being formed. That's our thesis. It won't be proven until it breaks down and falls through support. If that happens, there is plenty of time to get short and make money.
